The digital platform was used to conduct the video contest. The format of short videos familiar to school-aged children through popular social media platforms was chosen. Children could register on the platform with their teacher, shoot, and upload a short video explaining any scientific theory. Then, the videos were evaluated by other project participants based on three criteria — clarity, engagement, and depth of coverage of the topic — on a five-point scale. At the end of the contest, the works with the highest scores reached the final, where the winners were determined by an expert jury. The winners received gifts for the participant, the mentor, and the school

For the competition, a new digital platform was developed with a video upload and evaluation system. A landing page was created containing general information about the competition and a registration system via the Uchi.ru platform. Two personal accounts were established for students and teachers, allowing them to link their accounts. The video upload and verification system utilized the third-party hosting service Cloudflare. The video evaluation system involved participants using a special algorithm and motivational mechanics. Additionally, there were pages for supplementary materials, a competition diary, award broadcasts, winners, finalists,
and more.

Rating system
For determining the finalists of the сontest,
the videos were evaluated by the participants themselves. The videos were rated based on three criteria — clarity, engagement, and depth of coverage of the topic — on a five-point scale. Motivational mechanics were also implemented. To ensure equal rights for participants, a special algorithm was developed. All videos were presented for evaluation an equal number of times.

Teacher's profile
The teacher's profile featured the main functionality that changed depending on the stage of the competition and the participant's journey. A teacher could register as a mentor, study the guidelines and rules of the contest, find and attach their students. A teacher could attach up to 30 students. The system for attaching accounts was implemented in the simplest and most understandable way through a unique link or QR code. To send a request for attachment, a registered user simply had to follow the link and confirm the addition. Also, a registration flow for new users was implemented through this same link.
